We’re partnering with a high-growth, international fintech business as they continue to scale their UK operation. They are looking for a Learning & Leadership Partner to join their London team and play a key role in developing managers, strengthening leadership capability and building a high-performance culture across the business.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role for someone who enjoys being close to the business. You’ll work directly with managers — from first-time team leaders through to regional leadership — helping them develop their leadership style, manage performance effectively and build high-performing teams.
The Role
You’ll help shape and deliver the UK leadership and learning agenda, with a particular focus on manager development, coaching, performance and accountability.
- Coach managers 1:1 and in groups on leadership, accountability, performance and difficult conversations
- Support first-time managers in developing strong and consistent leadership habits
- Design and deliver practical leadership development sessions
- Coach managers through performance conversations, probation and challenging people situations
- Support the embedding of consistent leadership and performance standards
- Partner with People teams to identify capability gaps and trends across the organisation
- Work with commercial and training teams to identify leadership gaps impacting productivity and performance
- Translate business priorities into targeted learning and leadership interventions
- Provide recommendations to senior HR leadership around development priorities and capability risks
- Help build a strong, consistent and high-performance leadership culture
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced Learning, Leadership Development or Manager Capability professional who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment. You’ll ideally bring:
- Proven experience developing and coaching managers in-house
- Strong leadership development and facilitation experience
- A genuine coaching capability, with the confidence to coach managers 1:1 through performance, accountability and difficult conversations
- A recognised coaching qualification or formal coaching accreditation is highly desirable
- Experience supporting performance management and manager capability
- Confidence challenging constructively and holding leaders to high standards
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how people capability connects to business performance
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach rather than a purely theoretical L&D background
- Experience working within a scaling or high-growth organisation
We’re particularly interested in candidates who see coaching as a fundamental leadership development tool, rather than simply someone who has delivered traditional L&D programmes.
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly scaling international business and have genuine ownership over how managers and leaders develop across the UK. You’ll have significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape learning and leadership capability in an environment where pace, accountability and commercial performance really matter.
If you’re a Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Manager Capability or Coaching professional looking for a role where you can combine learning expertise with hands-on coaching and genuinely influence leadership capability, we’d love to hear from you.
