We are seeking an experienced Global Payroll Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end payroll operations for approximately 370 employees across multiple international locations. This role provides subject matter expertise, leadership, and direction to a small global payroll team based in the UK, US, and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing across all jurisdictions
- Manage payroll compliance, statutory reporting, and payments to tax authorities
- Act as the primary escalation point for payroll queries and third-party providers (including EORs)
- Lead payroll projects, system implementations, and continuous process improvements
- Review payroll journals, reconciliations, reports, and support budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure strong internal controls, documentation, and audit readiness
About You
- Proven experience managing multi-country, multi-currency payroll operations
- Demonstrated people management experience in a payroll leadership role
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax, benefits, and statutory requirements
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll systems
