Role overview
A major, high-profile UK organisation is seeking an experienced Learning Specialist to join its Rewards / Total Rewards team on a six-month assignment. The role focuses on designing, delivering and evaluating high-quality learning experiences that support strategic people and reward objectives across the organisation.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop and deliver blended and digital learning solutions that meet clearly defined business outcomes.
- Work closely with stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to define learning strategies, objectives and measurable KPIs.
- Conduct user research and testing to ensure learning is user‑centred, accessible and impactful.
- Produce creative briefs, manage third‑party suppliers and oversee content production to agreed standards, budgets and timelines.
- Project‑manage learning design phases, keeping milestones and communications clear for stakeholders.
- Ensure all learning materials meet organisational standards, governance and quality expectations.
- Maintain and curate the central training library and learning resources.
- Measure effectiveness, review content regularly, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage supplier relationships and work within procurement frameworks where required.
Key requirements
- Demonstrable experience designing and delivering high‑quality digital/blended learning solutions.
- Strong user‑centred design skills, including experience of user testing and research.
- Proven project and stakeholder management experience, including managing external suppliers and budgets.
- Able to define measurable outcomes and deliver against KPIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Experience working with learning platforms and digital learning tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
