Annapurna HR have been engaged to find a HR Business Partner on a permanent basis for a dynamic and growing engineering firm. This is a unique opportunity to join a business experiencing rapid growth while embedding a progressive, people-first culture across its UK workforce.
Working closely with the senior leadership and HR teams, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a broad range of strategic and operational HR services, with exposure across all areas of the HR lifecycle, from cultural initiatives to compliance, talent acquisition, and systems implementation.
Role:
- Support and coach managers in all HR-related matters to ensure alignment with business strategy, performance, and employee development goals.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to forecast, plan, and deliver on hiring needs—including contractor management and IR35 compliance.
- Champion cultural values and promote inclusive, open environments.
- Deliver engagement programs, employee feedback initiatives, and culture-enhancing activities.
- Work alongside the Head of HR to help design and implement competitive, practical UK-specific reward strategies.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law. Draft and maintain policies, update contracts, and deliver policy training sessions for managers.
- Lead the rollout of a new HR system in the UK. Support training, reporting, and future system development in partnership with the centralised HR team.
- Analyse HR data to provide insights and reporting that inform strategic people decisions.
Skills:
- Experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced or engineering/industrial environment.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices. Exposure across multiple HR disciplines.
- Hands-on experience supporting HRIS implementation and leveraging HR systems for reporting and insights.
- A self-starter who’s keen to learn, grow, and gain exposure to international HR practices.
This is a fantastic opportunity paying up to £70,000 + benefits on a permanent basis.
