Head of Organisation Design (Target Operating Model Transformation) – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to lead a critical, enterprise-wide Target Operating Model (TOM) transformation programme, focusing on the future of work. As the Head of Organisation Design, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future structure and operational efficiency of our client\’s organisation. This 12-month Fixed Term Contract is designed for a strategic leader with extensive experience in organisational design, change management, and executive stakeholder engagement.
You will be working closely with the executive leadership team to define and implement a TOM that aligns with the organisation\’s strategic objectives, enhances agility, and prepares the business for the evolving landscape of work. This role will also involve managing and collaborating with an external consultancy, ensuring the successful delivery of the transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Stakeholder Engagement:Partner with the executive leadership team to define the future of work vision and develop a TOM that supports this vision.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance on organisational design principles and best practices.
- Present and communicate complex organisational design concepts to senior stakeholders.
- Target Operating Model Development and Implementation:Lead the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide TOM transformation programme.
- Conduct in-depth organisational analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Design and implement organisational structures, roles, and responsibilities that align with the future of work vision.
- External Consultancy Management:Manage and collaborate with an external consultancy to deliver the TOM transformation programme.
- Ensure the consultancy\’s work aligns with the organisation\’s strategic objectives and timelines.
- Monitor and evaluate the consultancy\’s performance and provide feedback.
- Change Management:Develop and implement a comprehensive change management plan to support the TOM transformation.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Address resistance to change and ensure smooth transitions.
- Future of Work Expertise:Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the future of work.
