My client is a rapidly expanding global scale-up in the fin-tech sector, disrupting the Insurance sector. With ambitious plans to double in size over the next year, it is an incredibly exciting time to join their team and make a significant impact. This is a unique opportunity to be the first permanent Global Payroll Manager. You will be instrumental in establishing and managing their global payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely pay for their growing team across EMEA, the UK, and the USA. This role requires a hands-on approach with a strong focus on compliance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for employees in EMEA, the UK, and the USA.
- Utilise, optimise and implement the Rippling payroll system for efficient and accurate payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation, tax regulations, and reporting requirements in each region.
- Manage payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any issues promptly.
- Oversee the accurate calculation of salaries, wages, overtime, deductions, and benefits.
- Prepare and process payroll reports, including payroll journals, tax filings, and other statutory reports.
- Liaise with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and smooth payroll operations.
- Develop and document payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
- Manage external payroll providers or vendors as needed.
- Proven experience as a Global Payroll Manager or similar role.
- Extensive experience in processing payroll for EMEA, UK, and USA.
- Hands-on experience with the Rippling payroll system is a must.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in the specified regions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
