With multiple product and platform initiatives underway, the business is looking for a people-focused Development Manager to help lead engineering delivery, improve team effectiveness, and create scalable development practices across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support a small team of .NET engineers and technical specialists
- Drive team performance, delivery quality, and engineering best practices
- Work closely with programme and delivery stakeholders to align engineering priorities with wider business objectives
- Support sprint planning, delivery forecasting, and resource coordination across projects
- Create a high-performing and collaborative engineering culture
- Coach and mentor developers while supporting career growth and development
- Help improve development processes, workflows, and operational efficiency
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to wider engineering strategy and delivery planning
What They’re Looking For
- Strong background in C# /.NET software engineering
- Previous experience as a Team Lead, Engineering Manager, or Development Manager
- Passion for people leadership and team development
- Experience managing developers within agile delivery environments
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and engineering processes
- Ability to think beyond individual sprints and contribute to programme-level delivery planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
