- Leading a team of over 20 backend and DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous improvement.
- Serving on the engineering leadership team alongside the CTO and Head of Mobile Engineering to address company-wide technical challenges.
- Overseeing platform performance, uptime, and cost-efficiency, including monitoring, profiling, and optimizing code.
- Mentoring engineering leads, supporting their professional growth, and promoting a high-performance team environment.
- Staying abreast of emerging technologies, particularly within the AWS ecosystem, to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in backend engineering.
- ~5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
- ~Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell or Python.
- ~Extensive experience with AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, S3, EBS, RDS, and DynamoDB.
