Annapurna HR is delighted to be partnering with a high-growth fintech organisation to appoint a People Operations Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-scaling businesses, supporting the build-out of a data-driven People function during a period of significant growth and transformation.
The organisation is looking for an analytically minded People Operations professional who can combine strong reporting capability with project coordination and process improvement. Working closely with the Head of People and senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in providing meaningful workforce insights, driving operational excellence, and helping the business make informed people decisions.
The Opportunity
As the People Operations Analyst, you will own people reporting, recruitment analytics, project tracking, and systems optimisation across the People function. This role offers excellent exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape how people data is used within a scaling organisation. This position would particularly suit candidates who enjoy working with data, building dashboards, automating processes, and turning complex information into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- People Analytics & Reporting
- Own monthly People reporting, including headcount, attrition, absence, employee relations, and workforce metrics.
- Produce insightful reporting packs for senior leadership, highlighting trends and business impact.
- Maintain data accuracy across HR systems and ensure reporting integrity.
- Support gender pay gap and other workforce reporting requirements.
- Recruitment Analytics
- Manage recruitment reporting across hiring activity, including pipeline performance, conversion rates, time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain recruitment dashboards to provide real-time hiring insights.
- Analyse quality-of-hire metrics and support continuous improvement within Talent Acquisition.
- Business Insight & Workforce Planning
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within people data.
- Support workforce planning and organisational growth through robust analysis and forecasting.
- Deliver meaningful insights that support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Project Coordination
- Track and coordinate People projects across HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development.
- Maintain project roadmaps, milestones, actions, and dependencies.
- Support leadership teams with project updates, reporting, and decision-making materials.
- Systems & Process Improvement
- Drive automation and reporting improvements across People systems.
- Support HR technology enhancements and implementation projects.
- Develop scalable reporting processes that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- 3-5 years' experience within People Analytics, HR Operations, HR Reporting, Workforce Planning, Business Analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong reporting and data analysis capability.
- Experience creating dashboards and management information packs.
- Exposure to tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Excel, or similar reporting and automation platforms.
- Experience working with HRIS and/or applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach and a genuine curiosity for understanding the story behind the data.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
