The Opportunity
We're partnering with a fast-growing, investor-backed infrastructure and technology-enabled business entering its next phase of scale. The company operates in a commercially driven, fast-paced environment and is looking for a highly commercial finance leader to partner closely with sales, operations and the executive team. This role is ideally suited to someone who has thrived in scaling businesses - particularly Series A to C-style environments - rather than heavily corporate organisations. The business values pace, pragmatism, ownership and strong commercial instinct.
The Role
This is a commercially focused finance leadership role centred around pricing, deal support, financial modelling and commercial negotiation. You will work directly with senior stakeholders, customers and suppliers to support major commercial decisions, shape pricing strategy and drive profitable growth. This is not a traditional FP&A or controllership role - the successful candidate will be externally credible, commercially sharp and comfortable leading negotiations independently.
- Pricing strategy and commercial modelling
- Customer and supplier negotiations
- Commercial support for large infrastructure and project bids
- Sales partnership and incentive modelling
- Strategic commercial analysis for leadership and investors
- Leading a lean commercial finance capability
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior commercial finance role within a scaling or high-growth business
- Strong pricing, modelling and commercial analysis capability
- Experience partnering closely with sales and commercial teams
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments
- Direct experience leading customer and supplier negotiations
- Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable being hands-on while operating strategically
Experience within infrastructure, telecoms, technology-enabled services or project-led environments would be advantageous.
Personal Style
- Commercially instinctive and entrepreneurial
- Pragmatic, hands-on and delivery focused
- Confident operating externally with senior stakeholders
- Collaborative and relationship-oriented
- Comfortable with ambiguity, pace and change
- Credible with both commercial and operational teams
