Overview

Annalect is the Data, Technology and Analytics division of Omnicom Group. Operating as a ‘horizontal’ team of specialists, we work in a centralised role across Omnicom Media Group (OMG) developing and maintaining Omni: our marketing orchestration and insights platform. Our teams sit centrally and are embedded in OMG agency brands (OMD, PHD, Hearts & Science) as well as other Omnicom Group agencies to provide customization and applied solutions to clients through our Omni platform.

Role: Junior Marketing Science Analyst at Annalect.

Role Summary

The role is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of media and brand analytics, leveraging a leading global platform and data science capabilities to aid the biggest marketers with game-changing solutions around the measurement, optimisation and planning of media.

You Will

  • Impress clients: Work on client engagements, helping run analyses to understand media impact (e.g., MMM or Attribution) and on how to optimise media plans to maximise a client’s KPI.
  • Facilitate best-in-class solutions: Be the expert on new regional data sets or a specific sub-capability to ensure our marketing solutions are supported and effective.
  • Learn and share: Collaborate with a wide community of data scientists, marketing scientists and analysts across many markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver analyses to clients across a variety of solutions, e.g. MMM, attribution and media plan optimisation.
  • Become an expert on the above solutions, and train analysts and data scientists on these capabilities.
  • Effectively communicate marketing science concepts and analysis results to internal and client teams.
  • Attend training sessions, seminars and workshops to stay abreast of the latest in tracking, measurement, mar-tech and ad-tech space.

Profile

  • Hands-on in analysis, understanding the marketing funnel and how it relates to KPIs and optimisation and planning processes.
  • Keen eye for bringing analysis to life.
  • Working experience with R, EViews, or VBA Excel; interest in broadening skills in R and Python.
  • Strong grasp of statistical and optimisation techniques and the ability to bring value to clients.
  • Familiar with Google suite of advertising tools (CM, GA360).
  • Business acumen and ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Experience servicing internal and/or external commercial clients.
  • Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal; client and internal facing.
