The Role
You\’ll conduct remote consultations, assess suitability for cannabis-based medicinal products (CBMPs), and provide safe, evidence-based care supported by a full governance and shared-care framework. You\’ll focus purely on clinical delivery, with no management or admin burden. Supported by nurse prescribers, patient coordinators, and our operations team to ensure efficient, compliant service delivery.
Sessions are paid for the hours you\’re available for the clinic. The role is open to employee or contractor status depending on your preference.
What You\’ll Do
- Conduct virtual initial and follow‑up consultations.
- Prescribe CBMPs safely and in line with GMC and CQC standards.
- Transition stable patients into the shared‑care nurse‑led pathway after month 1 review.
- Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation.
- Contribute to MDT case reviews and audits to maintain best practice.
- Support service efficiency achieving our >95% eligibility target and 3‑day prescription-to‑parcel delivery targets.
About You
- GMC‑registered doctor on the Specialist Register (Pain Medicine, Neurology, or Psychiatry).
- At least five years\’ experience working at consultant or specialist level within your field.
- Experience prescribing controlled drugs within regulated frameworks.
- Compassionate, compliant, and commercially aware.
- Interest in or experience with CBMPs preferred (training provided).
