We are expanding our specialist clinical team and are looking for an experienced Specialist Consultant to join us on a sessional basis. The Role
As a Specialist Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality consultations for patients exploring medical cannabis treatment, ensuring safe, evidence-informed clinical decision making and an exceptional patient experience. You will work closely with our administrative and prescribing support teams to ensure smooth, compliant prescribing and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct specialist patient consultations (initial and follow up) for patients seeking treatment through Medical Cannabis
- Provide robust clinical documentation in line with CQC expectations and best practice standards
- Create safe and individualised treatment plans and review outcomes over time
- Work collaboratively with prescribing support staff (including NMPs where applicable)
- Participate in clinical governance processes including peer review/audits and learning events
- Maintain professional standards aligned with GMC requirements and clinic policies
What Weβre Looking For
- GMC registered Specialist Consultant with licence to practise
- Evidence of specialist experience and strong clinical judgement
