What You’ll Do
- Lead content and communications activity by creating and coordinating newsletters, web content, resources and multimedia materials that engage and inform early years professionals.
- Grow and develop the Early Years in Mind network by building relationships with practitioners and stakeholders, gathering feedback, and increasing membership and engagement across the UK.
- Coordinate events and promotional activity that showcase project outcomes, share learning and increase awareness of attachment‑informed and mentalisation‑informed practice.
- Support marketing and stakeholder engagement strategies by helping to expand the network's reach, maintaining stakeholder databases and contributing to campaigns that maximise impact.
- Work collaboratively across Anna Freud with communications colleagues, researchers and project teams to ensure all content is high quality, on‑brand, accessible and aligned with organisational priorities.
What you’ll bring
- Experience creating and delivering engaging content across multiple channels, including websites, newsletters, digital platforms and social media.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to professional audiences.
- Experience using content management systems (CMS) and managing the development of digital and/or print communications from concept to delivery.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate stakeholders and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with internal teams, external partners and stakeholders, alongside an understanding of branding and communications best practice.
Key details
- Hours: Part‑time: 17.5 hrs per week. Usual working hours are between Monday to Friday, 09:00‑17:00 as agreed with the line manager. Flexible working is possible.
- Salary: £35,422 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.
- Location: Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff work onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London office (4‑8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).
- Contract type: Fixed term until end of March 2029.
