Logistics Team Leader
Based at our Head Office and Logistics site, Gold Group House (GGH), in Whyteleafe, Surrey. 15 minutes outside of Croydon and easily commutable from London.
Full time contract, working the 6am‑2pm shift 5 days out of 10. Weekend working 1 day every 6 weeks. Flexibility required during peak trading season and annual leave.
We’re looking for a hands‑on Team Leader to support the Shift Managers in the daily operations of our warehouse. You will thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑channel environment, leading a team to consistently deliver exceptional results.
Working across key areas including inbound, inventory, outbound, with a particular focus on reverse logistics, our customer and third‑party returns processes. You will take on a variety of tasks while supporting your team. This diverse role offers the opportunity to use your excellent people skills to develop, coach, and empower your team for success.

The role
- Carrying out daily shift operations, supporting the shift manager in managing the end‑to‑end operation across all key functions.
- Plan and prioritise team workloads daily, creating and assigning work as required.
- Daily shift reporting and end‑of‑shift handovers to Shift or Senior Managers.
- Record and monitor KPI performance, coaching operatives to continually improve their performance and results.
- People management support such as attendance monitoring, return‑to‑work meetings, breaches recording and note taking.
- Ensure housekeeping and Health and Safety compliance at all times, acting as an ambassador for good H&S practice.
- Empower the team to make decisions and take ownership and responsibility for their actions.
- Be an ambassador for the brand and champion our Ann Summers values.
Qualifications
- Have solid warehouse experience, working on an operational shift within a fast‑paced environment, ideally within Retail or Multi‑channel environment.
- Target orientated and service focussed approach.
- A great people manager, with an ability to empower and coach a team.
- Experience of working with systems and Microsoft suite.
- Exposure and awareness of Health and Safety practices.
- Love to get stuck in and have a flexible approach to your work.
- Have an affinity to the brand and our values.
