About the Role

You will take ownership of complex, multi-partner research programmes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. This role combines operational leadership, financial oversight, and strategic management, while working closely with academic teams, industry partners, and funding bodies. You will support programme governance, resource management, reporting, and the development of new funding proposals. This is a full-time position to start as soon as possible until 30th September 2026.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage multiple multi-partner research projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met
  • Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and financial reporting for high-value grants
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with academic, industry, and funding partners
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and funding body requirements, maintaining accurate documentation
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations and support programme teams to deliver high-impact research
