Overview
We are seeking an experienced Summer Program Lead to join a leading residential summer education provider in Cambridge for Summer 2026. This hands‑on leadership role ensures the safe, smooth, and successful running of residential programs for young people. As a Summer Program Lead, you will guide supervisors and teaching staff, oversee student welfare and safeguarding, and maintain oversight of daily operations.
Program Dates
Applicants may apply for one, two, or all of the following periods:
- 3 July – 18 July
- 17 July – 1 August
- 24 July – 8 August
- 31 July – 15 August
Compulsory induction training will take place in Cambridge on the Friday and Saturday of your first program. Alternative arrangements may be considered for candidates with graduation commitments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support supervisors and teaching staff.
- Oversee student welfare, safeguarding, and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain oversight of daily schedules and program operations.
- Resolve issues relating to accommodation, transfers, administration, and student wellbeing.
- Liaise with parents and external partners when required.
- Support contingency planning and respond to urgent situations.
- Ensure staff comply with organisational policies and safeguarding requirements.
- Promote organisational values and standards at all times.
- Provide a confident, approachable, and assertive leadership style.

Experience & Knowledge
- Essential: Residential experience, work with young people, leadership or management role.
