In this role, you will join a leading FinTech organization that specializes in Core Banking SaaS-based solutions, championing operational excellence in portfolio management, service operations, and automation. As the Head of Portfolio Management, you will manage the PMO and Services Operations, ensuring efficient delivery frameworks, automated reporting, and effective service strategies. This role offers the chance to drive the transformation of portfolio management (PPM) practices, improve service delivery, and enhance banking operations through advanced delivery standards, automation, and governance frameworks.

You will lead a team of PPM professionals, ensuring projects are delivered successfully while maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing contracts and change requests (CRs). The ideal candidate will have a proven record in Core Banking, SaaS, and Services Operations, with expertise in improving automated reporting, managing portfolio oversight, and optimizing operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and Service Operations functions, ensuring best practices and efficiency in delivery standards, tools, and automation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of PPM professionals, driving excellence in project and portfolio management.
  • Define and implement standardized project delivery frameworks, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and customer expectations.
  • Own and enhance automation tools, reporting structures, and project governance methodologies.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a senior point of escalation and ensuring high levels of customer engagement.
  • Support contract negotiations and provide regular reporting of issues, risks, change requests, project status, open items, client satisfaction and similar as developed as per client standard.
  • Drive continuous improvements in reporting processes, leveraging automation and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with SaaS delivery models, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in core banking solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product, engineering, and sales teams, to align service operations with business goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in portfolio management, service operations, or project management, with a focus on fintech, banking, or SaaS solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Core Banking, SaaS-based service delivery, and professional services management.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring project managers and portfolio professionals.
  • Deep understanding of PPM methodologies, automation tools, and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience in contract management, change request handling, and service-level agreement (SLA) execution.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to engage at senior executive levels.
  • Expertise in implementing delivery standards, automation, and governance frameworks within a PMO environment.
  • Ability to drive efficiency and improvements in service operations, ensuring high customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with experience in automated reporting and analytics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills in a multinational environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingness to travel.
