Driving Seamless On-Premise & SaaS Onboarding/Transformation in Core Banking Solutions | Championing Service Excellence in SaaS Delivery

As a dynamic and experienced Director, Delivery and Services will oversee the seamless implementation and deployment including all delivery streams of our client’s Core Banking Solution across the regions. This role places Director, Delivery at the forefront of a strategic evolution in delivery services, supporting financial institutions in their transition to agile, cloud-based SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities of Director, Delivery and Services
  • Project Execution & Delivery
    • Oversee the successful execution of SaaS Core Banking projects across the region as well as handling migrations and system upgrades, ensuring seamless delivery, high standards of quality, and alignment with customer expectations.
    • Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) and internal teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring high-quality project execution for SaaS implementations.
    • Guide and manage partner resources on projects, ensuring adherence to performance standards and operational excellence.
  • Customer Engagement & Risk Management
    • Serve as the primary escalation point for regional customer concerns, identifying and mitigating project risks quickly.
    • Foster proactive customer engagement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and build strong references.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development
    • Lead a team of Functional and Technical Consultants, and cross-functional delivery teams including engaged partner’s professionals, ensuring alignment with regional and segment expertise.
    • Develop and drive initiatives for consultant professional development to enhance technical and industry expertise, maximizing client value.
    • Collaborate with the talent team to build a strong talent pipeline, align on hiring needs, make informed hiring decisions, and provide mentorship, support, and career development for team members while managing their professional growth across the region.
  • Financial & Performance Management
    • Drive financial performance by overseeing revenue planning, optimizing cost structures, and ensuring efficient backlog execution.
    • Monitor and report on key performance metrics specific to SaaS delivery, ensuring projects meet financial and delivery targets.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Continuous Improvement
    • Facilitate communication between Product, Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment between customer commitments, product roadmaps, and delivery schedules.
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, refining delivery frameworks, governance models, and cross-functional collaboration with Cloud IT, Product, and Support teams.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • SME in SaaS Core Banking solutions
  • At least 12 years of proven leadership experience in professional or managed services, with a strong focus on delivery and execution of large-scale, complex banking projects.
  • Deep expertise in SaaS and cloud-based software implementations within financial services.
  • Solid understanding of core banking solutions and enterprise financial software.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across internal teams, clients, and external partners.
  • A commercial mindset with proficiency in project scoping, cost optimization, and resource planning.
  • A structured and programmatic approach to execution, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices in delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to travel
