We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Retail Manager to lead the expansion and operations of our retail business across the UK. As a founding member of our retail organization, you will drive market entry, oversee store launches, and build the operational frameworks necessary for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Expansion: Lead end-to-end store development including site selection, commercial lease negotiation, and construction management for new locations across the UK.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily retail operations, visual merchandising standards, and in-store promotional strategies to ensure a premium customer experience and sales target achievement.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, build, and mentor a high-performing retail team from the ground up; establish training programs and performance management frameworks.
  • Pipeline Development: Conduct market research and feasibility analysis to identify growth opportunities and execute the rollout of 2–3+ stores.
  • Performance Management: Monitor P&L, track key retail metrics, and provide regular reporting and actionable insights to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with regional and HQ stakeholders to ensure local execution aligns with global brand strategy and product positioning.

Requirements:

  • 5–15 years of progressive retail management experience, with a proven track record in multi-site leadership and new store rollouts.
  • Deep understanding of the UK retail landscape, including commercial leasing terms, landlord relationships, and consumer behaviour dynamics.
  • Strong capability in independent decision-making and team building, with the ability to establish operational standards without heavy oversight.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects and drive consensus across functions.
  • Prior experience in consumer electronics, tech retail, or premium lifestyle brands is highly preferred.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) with a strong focus on results and operational detail.
