Job Summary: We are currently looking for dedicated and talented plasterers or damp proofers to join our team. As a plasterer at Anke Damp Proofing, you will play a crucial role in our damp proofing projects, ensuring the smooth and efficient application of plaster finishes to surfaces. You will work closely with our team of experts to provide high-quality craftsmanship and deliver outstanding results to our clients. Must be willing to travel to sites across the south east of England.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for plastering, including cleaning, leveling, and applying bonding agents when necessary.
- Mix and apply plaster to achieve desired finishes, using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Smooth and finish plaster surfaces to ensure a polished and flawless appearance.
- Repair and patch damaged or uneven surfaces prior to plaster application.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless integration of plaster finishes with the overall project.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plasterer or damp proofer in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of plastering techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and instructions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
