Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow regional fundraising initiatives, with a focus on supporting international students arriving for education in the UK.
  • Inspire, guide, and oversee fundraising programmes to increase income and community engagement.
  • Provide short-term, interest-free financial assistance to eligible students to help cover tuition fees and essential living costs during hardship.
  • Recruit, manage, and motivate regional fundraising committees and volunteers.
  • Deliver exceptional supporter care, ensuring donors and community members feel valued and recognised.
  • Organise charity events, participate in trade fairs, and enhance campaign visibility.
  • Submit regular weekly progress reports to the Trustees.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in community fundraising, charity management, or a similar supporter-focused role.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with diverse communities and donors.
  • Experience working with volunteers, families, or community groups.
  • Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and empower others.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of fundraising regulations and familiarity with fundraising databases.

Language Requirements

Alongside fluent English, candidates must speak at least one of the following languages: Arabic, Azeri, Persian.
