Position Summary:
Anistar is seeking experienced Structured Cable Technicians to assist with the installation, termination, and testing of various voice and data cables, as well as security/access control equipment. MUST be comfortable working from a lift.
This opportunity offers a pay range of $20-$26/hr, based on prior low voltage experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cable in new construction and existing commercial structures.
- Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks).
- Comfortable working from scissor/boom lifts if required.
- Pulling, routing, installing, and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 4+ years of experience installing and servicing voice and data systems in retail settings such as Walmart.
- Ownership of basic telecom tools: punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, hard hat, boots, safety glasses, etc.
- Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards.
