Company
We are proud to be partnering with a fast-growth sports-tech leader that is redefining how athletes train. Our partner develops world-class hardware and software used by global giants—from Premier League clubs to international entertainment brands and academies. As our partner transitions from a hardware-focused startup to a data-driven SportsTech, they are looking to grow their sales team with a Sales Executive to spearhead their UK outbound growth.
The Mission
Our partner has seen massive success internationally and is now ready to dominate the UK market. Historically, the business has thrived on inbound inquiries; this new role is a strategic pivot toward proactive outbound business development. You will be the "boots on the ground," working directly with the Global Sales Director to unlock untapped sectors. You won’t just be selling equipment; you’ll be selling the future of performance data and gamified training systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Drive Outbound Growth: Identify and hunt for new opportunities across professional football clubs, academies, universities, and commercial leisure facilities.
- On-Site Demonstrations: Travel nationally to lead in-person product demos—this role is for someone who loves being in the field, not stuck behind a desk.
- Manage Complex Sales: Navigate institutional decision-making chains with deal sizes ranging from £10k to £300k+.
- Market Pioneer: Explore and open doors in new verticals such as holiday parks, health and wellness, and education.
- CRM Mastery: Maintain a clean pipeline in HubSpot, using tools like Apollo to find and engage key stakeholders.
Who We Are Looking For
Our partner values raw sales ability and hunger above all else. The ideal candidate is:
- A Proven Hunter: You have 2+ years of outbound sales experience and aren’t afraid of the "hard yards" involved in building a territory from scratch.
- Relentless: You have the "thick skin" required to follow up over long sales cycles (4–9 months) and the persistence to overcome objections.
- Technically Savvy: You are comfortable discussing hardware/software integration and can handle the physical aspect of setting up equipment for demos.
- Mobile: You must have your own transport and be willing to travel across the UK regularly, including occasional overnight stays.
