We have recently partnered with a leading consultancy seeking contract Data Architects for several migration projects from legacy platforms to modern cloud data platforms. We are hiring for senior-level Data Architects for high-profile public-sector projects. This is an opportunity to lead technical strategy for large-scale "legacy-to-new" migrations, moving from on-premises environments to modern cloud architectures.
Platform & Technical Focus
- AWS Ecosystem: Implementing solutions using Redshift Spectrum, S3, Glue, and EMR.
- Azure Ecosystem: Leading migrations and deliveries using Databricks and Serverless Synapse.
- Modern Paradigms: Deep application of Lakehouse architectures, focusing on cost-optimisation through strategic data.
- Technical Integration: Awareness of auxiliary areas including Containerisation, Digital Services, and Security.
Required Skills
- Strategic Architecture: Proven experience designing and evolving data solutions that align with long-term strategy and organisational maturity.
- Modern Paradigms: Deep understanding of Data Lakes, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and Modern Data Warehousing.
