We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Animed Vets in Whitstable and Beltinge (a combination across sites).

Location: Animed Vets in Whitstable and Beltinge (a combination across sites)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 30 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 30 hours a week over 4-5 days plus 1:6 Saturdays

About the role:

Day-to-day duties include:

  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person, and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Taking payments
  • Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients

What we\'re looking for:

  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential. Veterinary experience is a plus.
  • Resilient, able to cope with potentially distressing situations
  • Excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
