Are you an experienced veterinary surgeon seeking an exciting new opportunity in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are a thriving small animal hospital with a large and varied caseload, and we’re currently seeking a talented veterinary surgeon to join our passionate team.
Unique chance to step into a well‑established practice with state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including a dedicated orthopaedic theatre, two fully equipped soft‑tissue theatres (both with laparoscopic equipment), a double dental suite, a dedicated imaging suite, visiting CT, separate wards for dogs, cats and exotic pets. Our team is close‑knit, supportive and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge across multiple disciplines. You’ll be part of a team of 16 day vets & 3 night vets, with cert holders in Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, Medicine, Endoscopy & Endo surgery. We also have 34 clinical, 18 reception & 5 admin staff.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a veterinary surgeon with preferably 3‑4 years experience who can hold their own and support junior colleagues. Client and reception engagement, organisational delegation are essential. Ideally full‑time, but part‑time considered. Full‑time rota: 4×10‑hour days, one day off per week, weekend rota 1:5 Saturday & Sunday. Surgical opportunities, surgical bias/interest catered for.

Located in Shedfield, commutable from Southampton, Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Fareham, Winchester, Petersfield, Totton, Gosport, Chichester, Bishops Waltham, Waltham Chase, Swanmore, Eastleigh and other Hampshire & East Sussex locations.
