With studio locations in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Manchester, UK and Santa Cruz, Tenerife, they are looking for Experienced Storyboard Artists to join their talented team working on a high-profile 2D animated series for Disney TVA.

Responsibilities:

  • Have conversational English language skills.
  • Be proficient in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro software.
  • Have previous experience of working on high-profile 2D animated series in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Create storyboards by translating scripts into clear, dynamic visual sequences.
  • Maintain character consistency, perspective, and proportions across all boards, ensuring characters stay on model.
  • Have an excellent understanding of the principles of film-language and an understanding of re-use assets.
  • Work under the supervision of the Director and the Storyboard Supervisor, following the rules set out in the storyboarding bible.
  • Produce storyboards that are completed within the parameters of the production schedule and budget, liaising with the Storyboard Supervisor to ensure a smooth transition to pipeline.
  • Proficient in the file management software and adhering to approved labelling conventions and ensure clean file management of assets.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Toon Boom Harmony pipeline.
  • Coordinate storyboard revisions for approval when required.
  • Show strong communication, organisational, and proactive problem-solving skills.
