Essential: Experience with Autism and Learning Disabilities
Role: Permanent Full time 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 7:30am-3pm & 2:30pm-10pm. You must be able to work both shifts & work weekends.

About the service
We provide support to individuals in their own flats. Individuals that are supported at the service may be autistic or have a diagnosis of learning disability, some individuals may display some challenging behaviour. Everyone is an individual & is supported in a person-centred way & no day is the same.
Support Worker duties:
- Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills.
- Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies.
- Assisting with the development of person-centred plans for our residents. This includes employment, education and other opportunities.
- Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments.
- Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence.
- Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development.
