Location: Kings Heath

Salary: £12.81 per hour. Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours

Day Shift: 7:30am-3pm & 2:30pm-10pm. Flexibility and working weekends required.

Essential: Experience within a CQC/Ofsted setting

A supported living service for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Health needs. Some individuals may present challenging behaviour, and experience in this area is essential.

Overview

To lead as a Senior Support Worker in providing support, act as a key worker where appropriate, and handle emergency or complex situations responsibly. To deliver high-quality, person-centred support based on individual needs and wishes. The service supports adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Duties

• Lead the development and implementation of Person Centred Plans.
• Act as a key worker for individuals when appropriate.
• Handle emergency or complex situations.
• Support people in daily living, personal care, and activities in their home and community, including employment and education opportunities.
• Maintain records related to people\’s lives, services, and finances.
• Assist with risk assessments to ensure health, safety, and welfare.
• Liaise with external parties, carers, and parents as needed.
• Supervise other Support Workers as required.
• Perform any other duties appropriate to the role.
