Overview
We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who thrives in the fast-paced world of ECC and are excited to be part of our night service at our Barnsley Hospital.

With an £79 out-of-hours consultation fee, our service is accessible when pets need us most.
The night team is fully supported by our first-opinion and referral services operating during the day, ensuring excellent continuity of care and clinical support.
Barnsley, clinic features 10 modern consulting rooms and four theatres, complete with X-ray and dental suites.
Dedicated to the well-being of our furry friends, we boast a separate dog and cat ward.
Our caseload is as diverse as it gets, ranging from surgical and medical cases to in-house orthopaedic procedures.
We have recently introduced nurse-led care during the night.
This ensures that our patients, in stable conditions, experience a comfortable and monitored recovery overnight in their kennels.

Responsibilities
- Provide veterinary care in the ECC night service at Barnsley Hospital.
- Collaborate with the day team to ensure continuity of care and clinical support.
- Contribute to nurse-led care during the night and support monitored recovery.
- Manage a diverse caseload including surgical, medical, and in-house orthopaedic procedures.
- Work within a hospital with dedicated dog and cat wards and access to X-ray and dental facilities.
- Shift and Rota
- 7:14 rota indicating a 28 hours per week average.
