The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 ÂŁ per year.
We are a wellâestablished surgery in Macmerry, East Lothian, with a loyal and established client base. Our practice is equipped with digital radiography, modern ultrasound machines, and full inâhouse blood testing facilities. We also have spacious theatres and consultation rooms to handle our varied firstâopinion cases, and in Spring 2025 we will be moving to a brandânew practice just across the road!
Our friendly team includes a Clinical Director, five veterinary surgeons, a Head Nurse, four experienced registered veterinary nurses, a Practice Manager, and three receptionists. We are dedicated to providing patientâcentric care, always discussing options with clients to ensure they make the most informed decisions, and we support a culture of continuous learning and encourage further CPD and certifications.

How Youâll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering highâquality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. Youâll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of firstâopinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This role includes:
- All clinical responsibilities, including running nursing clinics
- Assisting in the training of our Veterinary Care Assistants
- Collaborating with all roles within the practice to ensure smooth dayâtoâday operations
- Fullâtime, 40 hours per week over 4 days
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
- No out of hours
