We are seeking an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at our Rhyl clinic, delivering consistently exceptional clinical care. This role offers a surgery bias rota with 3 days out of 4 focused on surgery. To support the surgical aspect of the position, we are looking for a vet who is confident managing more complex soft tissue surgical cases independently. You will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting our other vets, helping to develop their skills and confidence in this area.

Our Rhyl clinic, based in North Wales, is exceptionally well equipped, featuring 9 consulting rooms, a dedicated end-of-life room, 4 theatres, a dental suite, X-ray suite, and a diagnostics room. We also have separate dog and cat wards, ensuring a calm and comfortable environment for our patients. The clinic is supported by a friendly, welcoming team who work collaboratively to deliver high standards of care.

At Animal Trust, you'll find a supportive and inclusive culture that values each individual's contribution. We operate without hierarchy, fostering an environment where every team member contributes to our shared commitment to clinical excellence.

Animal Trust stands out from other veterinary services. Firstly, we are a unique Community Interest Company, being the only veterinary CIC in the UK to date. Our primary focus isn't solely on maximising profits; instead, we are dedicated to delivering on our mission and ensuring enough profit to sustain our business in the long term. Our vision is clear: No pet should go untreated or face euthanasia when there is a viable treatment option. We firmly believe that pet ownership should be accessible to all, acknowledging that individuals earning the Real Living Wage may encounter challenges in affording veterinary care when their pet falls ill. In response, we aim to assist. Our free consultations and transparent pricing enable our vets and nurses to break down the barriers that stand in the way of pets receiving the treatment they need.
