We’re looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to take a leading role in our inpatient service at our 24/7 hospital in Ellesmere Port. In this role, you’ll spend two weeks out of three on inpatient shifts, taking the lead in caring for patients across both the first opinion and referral sides of the hospital. You’ll ensure every patient receives the very best care, supported by a talented and experienced team of RVNs. To provide variety, you’ll also spend one week out of three working on the GP side of the hospital, rotating through theatre and consults. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting patients through their treatment and recovery, while being part of a supportive and highly skilled hospital team.
The perfect candidate will be an experienced RVN with a keen interest in inpatient/ECC care with great clinical standards. You’ll be confident managing:
- Continuous Rate Infusions (CRIs)
- Indwelling catheters
- A wide variety of complex medical and surgical cases

Rota & Hours:
- 3-week rolling pattern
- A mix of 12-hour shifts with 1 hour unpaid lunch and 10.5 hour days with 30 min unpaid lunch.

- Average 39 hours per week
