Opening January 2026, our new 24/7 hospital in Stockton-on-Tees is proud to bring affordable veterinary care to the Teesside area. Our Out-of-Hours (OOH) service ensures pets receive the care they need whenever they need it. We are building a dedicated team of Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Vets to help us deliver exceptional service.

Working alongside a qualified registered veterinary nurse, you will handle a diverse range of surgical and medical ECC cases while overseeing our inpatient service. We operate a 24-hour service from four other hospitals, so working nights at Animal Trust ensures you are never alone, providing a collaborative environment where vets can always consult with one another regarding cases.

Our new hospital will feature:

  • A diagnostic suite

  • A dedicated dental suite
  • An isolation unit
  • Separate cat and dog wards for low-stress patient care
  • A central prep area to support efficient clinical workflow

Rota

We are looking for a vet who is keen to work a 7:14 rota (28hrs/week), although we are open to candidates who would like to consider alternative working patterns, including Full-time (40hrs). Our advertised FTE Salary is based on 40hrs.
