With an £79 out-of-hours consultation fee, our service is accessible when pets need us most.

The night team is fully supported by our first-opinion and referral services operating during the day, ensuring excellent continuity of care and clinical support. Barnsley clinic features 10 modern consulting rooms and four theatres, complete with X-ray and dental suites. Dedicated to the well-being of our furry friends, we boast a separate dog and cat ward. Our caseload is as diverse as it gets, ranging from surgical and medical cases to in-house orthopaedic procedures. We have recently introduced nurse-led care during the night, ensuring that our patients, in stable conditions, experience a comfortable and monitored recovery overnight in their kennels.

At Animal Trust, you'll find a supportive and inclusive culture that values each individual's contribution. We operate without hierarchy, fostering an environment where every team member contributes to our shared commitment to clinical excellence.

Animal Trust stands out from other veterinary services as a unique non-profit, Community Interest Company. Our primary focus isn’t solely on maximising profits; instead, we are dedicated to delivering on our mission and ensuring enough profit to sustain our business in the long term. Our vision is clear: No pet should go untreated or face euthanasia when there is a viable treatment option. We firmly believe that pet ownership should be accessible to all, acknowledging that individuals earning the Real Living Wage may encounter challenges in affording veterinary care when their pet falls ill. In response, we aim to assist. Our free consultations and transparent pricing enable our vets and nurses to break down the barriers that stand in the way of pets receiving the treatment they need.
