Senior Finance Business Partner – Sales and Pricing

Package: Up to £79k DOE, with excellent benefits including 25 holiday days (plus your birthday off), paid charity leave, group life assurance, PMI, and pet insurance discounts.
Location and hours: Fully remote within the UK or hybrid options. We prefer quarterly in-person meetings and encourage your participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships as the finance business partner to the Chief Product & Pricing Officer and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, providing financial insight and decision support.
- Deliver timely KPI reporting, insights, and challenge on financial performance.
- Support scenario analysis and contribute to performance reports and planning documents, including insights at specific and channel levels.
- Ensure clear, accurate reporting on finance performance, variances, and forecasts.
- Align finance treatments with departmental approaches, especially regarding premiums, policy volumes, and loss ratios.
- Act as the primary contact for management accounting, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
- Keep senior management informed of initiatives in partnered areas.
- Promote financial awareness across business areas.
- Collaborate to design PowerBi dashboards for key metrics.
- Conduct financial modelling to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with FP&A for budget and forecast inputs.
Candidate Profile
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- 8+ years PQE
- Insurance experience, ideally in pet insurance
- Experience in expenses business partnering
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analysis and commercial awareness
- Experience with premium reporting and marketing principles
- Effective communicator and influencer at all levels
- Understanding of AFI\’s value drivers and commercial mindset
- Excellent presentation skills
