At Animal Friends Insurance, we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our IT function. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract where you will champion our customers, ensuring our teams deliver good outcomes for them and their pets. The Role

Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, you will step into a dynamic, wide-ranging role that provides strategic business analysis to our business teams. You will make a real impact on our long-term strategies by:

  • Leading small to mid-size projects and assisting project managers and scrum masters on larger, complex initiatives.
  • Reviewing end-to-end business processes to identify operational, financial, and technological risks.
  • Delivering new products and features across our digital, transactional, and management information systems.
  • Collaborating closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of requirements, while providing guidance to testers during the QA process.
  • Co-ordinating and managing User Acceptance Testing and the release process.

About You

We are looking for a highly organised problem solver who thrives in a collaborative team environment. To succeed and make an impact, you will bring:

  • Proven analysis experience working within the financial sector.
  • A strong background in Scrum Agile development, with proficiency in capturing and prioritising requirements.
  • Experience analysing and improving customer journey processes, including digital portals and mobile applications.
  • Excellent data and trend analysis skills to truly understand the drivers behind our business and the need for change.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyse information and clearly communicate your recommendations to senior management.
