As Pinnacle Pet Group continues to grow, we are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our team on a 9-month FTC to provide support to the Procurement Team in day-to-day activities. Working closely with all businesses and key support functions across the group, you will be good at building strong cross-functional relationships in a matrixed environment.

You can choose to be based remotely within the UK, within our Amesbury or Paddington office, or hybrid (a mixture of both).

What you’ll get up to as our Procurement Analyst:

  • Create, own, and actively manage all contracts, templates and relevant storage folders, ensuring the most up-to-date version is available at all times.
  • Own and actively manage the contract management database.
  • Review and approve/challenge purchase requisitions on Sage Intacct in line with Company policy.
  • Help create and maintain a preferred supplier list.
  • Ensure all potential new suppliers have confidentiality agreements in place prior to distribution of sensitive commercial data.
  • Record and track key projects progress and return on investment for review by Procurement team and/or wider working group.
  • Document management of all essential Procurement formwork and process documents.
  • Analysis of the contracts to include key terms, costs etc.
  • Find and help pull together a 6-month view of all renewals, build a plan with the category manager and legal on key terms and de-risk contractual points.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all internal customers.
  • Promote central Procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across the organisation.
  • Actively maintain the Procurement mailbox, ensuring emails are actioned and filed away in a timely manner.

What We Look For In You:

  • Previous Procurement experience with the ability to read and understand legal clauses and cost analysis.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to understand contracts and present numbers in a variety of scenarios.
  • Confident using the whole range of Microsoft Office products.
  • Confident communicator – in both verbal and written forms - with an ability to get on with a variety of personalities.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and in a timely manner.
  • Confident and competent multi-tasker with the ability to work under some pressure.
