About Anima

Shun here, I’m the CEO and co-founder of Anima. Our mission is to deliver precision medicine to everyone in the world in under 24 hours. Millions die every year because their medical problems aren’t treated quickly enough. Hundreds of millions suffer pain, worry and discomfort needlessly because of long waiting times. I trained as a doctor in the NHS and quit out of frustration at seeing countless cases of people dying because they got misdiagnosed or didn’t get the right care plan. Seeing the problem space at all abstraction levels, including as a doctor and at the HM Treasury, convinced me that the only way to fix healthcare was to build a ‘Care Enablement’ platform that can automate and abstract away work at the clinic, effectively increasing the capacity of doctors. At Anima, you’ll help us extend the 3 existing product lines we have, that millions of patients use, and build out new ones at the very cutting edge of healthcare reinforcement learning and agentic AI. Your work will save countless lives.

Job Overview

Anima is hiring an exceptional early career Founder’s Associate to help us scale every aspect of our operations, from customer success to revenue, product, and growth. This is not a narrowly defined role. We’re looking for someone who is hungry to grow, highly dependable, and deeply curious — someone who brings energy, rigour, and a deep sense of purpose to everything they do. This person will help drive forward key initiatives across the company and play a crucial role in building the future of healthcare infrastructure. This role is a launchpad. Depending on your interests and strengths, you could grow into a specialist role in Customer Success, Revenue, Product, or Growth over time. We’ll support your growth, but the direction will be up to you.

If you’re excited to learn fast, do meaningful work, and help deliver precision medicine to everyone in the world in under 24 hours, we’d love to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For

  • High Energy and Hungry to Grow
    • Brings intensity and ownership to every task. No task is beneath you, and you love figuring things out.
    • Acts with urgency and focus. You move fast and think things through.
    • Constantly seeks growth and feedback. You want to look back in 6 months and barely recognise yourself.
  • Strong Problem Solver
    • Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys open-ended problem spaces.
    • Asks the right questions, breaks down problems, and gets to the core of an issue fast.
    • Doesn’t wait to be told what to do. You investigate, propose, and iterate.
  • Operator First Mindset
    • Extremely organised and dependable. You make sure things don’t fall through the cracks.
    • Can design and run repeatable processes that make the company more efficient.
    • Thinks in terms of systems, checklists, and improvements.
  • Clear Written and Verbal Communication
    • Communicates clearly and concisely, especially in writing.
    • Can adapt your tone and style depending on the audience (customers, internal team, partners).
    • Enjoys writing, whether it’s a customer-facing blog post, internal process doc, or crisp product feedback.
  • High EQ and Team Player
    • Warm, approachable, and able to build trust quickly.
    • Reads the room and communicates with emotional intelligence.
    • Uplifts the team and brings positive energy into every interaction.

Bonus Points

  • Comfort with (or a desire to learn) data and analytics — you understand what metrics are important, and how to drive them in the right way.
  • Passion for automation and tooling — you get a thrill from saving your team time.
  • Previous exposure to fast-moving startup environments.

Experience & Attributes

  • 0–2 years of experience in a fast-paced or high-ownership environment (internships count!).
  • Strong academic or extracurricular track record that demonstrates grit, drive, and follow-through.
  • Mission-aligned: you care deeply about making a real-world impact and choose purpose over prestige.

Example Tasks You May Own

  • Become a product matter expert – learn about Anima’s 3 product lines deeply and support customers in solving their issues.
  • Triage and resolve support tickets, escalating bugs or product issues to engineering with clear, helpful context.
  • Collaborate with product and revenue – gather customer feedback, surface upsell signals, and shape product priorities.
  • Run operational workflows across customer success, sales, and product.
  • Speak to users – gather feedback, resolve pain points, and build stronger relationships with GP practices.
  • Free up time for the founder and the rest of the team — become the glue in a fast-scaling org.
  • Build automations to streamline internal processes (think: Zapier, Notion, Retool, Ashby).
  • Support demand generation – help drive demo bookings and qualify inbound interest.
  • Represent Anima at events — demo the product, engage with the GP community, and share our mission.
  • Write blog posts and case studies — celebrate customer wins and broadcast our impact.

This Role Is Not For...

  • Individuals who want to avoid hands-on execution.
  • People who struggle with ambiguity or who want a perfectly defined job description/career path.
  • Those who aren’t interested in learning from mistakes or growing quickly through feedback.
  • Folks who are afraid of moving fast or who see process work as "grunt work."
