Ready to design and build the interfaces that bring the AI agents of the future to life? Join our growing team at Ani Tech where you'll craft the experiences that let financial professionals work seamlessly alongside autonomous AI systems.

About Ani Tech

We're pioneering agentic AI for financial services. Our flagship product, Ani, orchestrates teams of specialised AI workers that execute sophisticated workflows across portfolio analytics, financial planning, and operations. Unlike traditional automation, our AI workers think and act autonomously, making intelligent decisions while navigating complex financial processes.

The Opportunity

You'll help define how financial services firms understand, trust, and direct our AI agents - starting from research and concept, through to a working, production-quality interface. This is a rare chance to shape the end-to-end design process for an entirely new category of software - AI-native tools for a highly regulated industry - while working on meaningful projects with direct impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the design process end-to-end: research, wireframes, prototypes, and production UI for our AI agent platform
  • Design dashboards, agent interaction views, and workflows for complex, data- and document-heavy financial processes
  • Run lightweight user research and usability testing with real users to validate and refine designs
  • Build and evolve our design system and component library, and the interaction patterns that sit on top of it
  • Build out your own prototypes and designs in React, and work closely with engineers to get them into production
  • Design responsive, accessible experiences across React and mobile
  • Work closely with senior engineers and the founding team to shape product direction

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong design portfolio showing process as well as polished outcomes
  • Experience spanning both UI/UX design and frontend engineering, whether from work, internships, or significant personal projects
  • A sharp eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy, and a habit of sweating the details
  • Skill in designing for mobile as well as desktop, with an understanding of responsive and platform-specific patterns
  • Fluency in design tools (e.g. Figma), and comfort translating your own design files into clean code
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and consuming backend services
  • Comfortable presenting and defending design decisions directly to founders and engineers
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn

Bonus Points:

  • Advanced degree or formal training in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practice
  • Exposure to design systems, component libraries, or design tokens at scale
  • Experience running user research, interviews, or usability testing
  • Interest in financial technology, fintech UX, or regulated-industry product design
  • Contributions to personal or open-source projects, or a public design portfolio
  • Familiarity with agentic coding/working, such as Cursor/Antigravity/Claude
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence, the available models and the nuances with them

Why Join Ani Tech?

  • Join our tight-knit team at an exciting point in our company's mission
  • Work at the forefront of AI innovation in financial services
  • Work directly with our CTO and Founder in our Brick Lane Office
  • Enjoy equity ownership and help shape the company's technical and visual direction
  • Own critical design decisions with significant autonomy
  • Flexible hybrid working - we value collaboration in-person but work flexibly
  • Build technology that's transforming how financial institutions operate

If you're excited about defining what AI-native software looks and feels like in finance - and want to grow your career at a fast-moving startup where your contributions matter - we want to hear from you.
