The Role

Our Senior Hospitality Assistants are responsible for providing a high‑quality front of house service to all of our residents and visitors within St George’s Park Retirement Village. This is a varied role, and no two days are the same. You will be required to cover the different areas of our Retirement Village including our restaurant, bistro, pool‑side cafe bar, shop and concierge desk. This is a senior role leading the front of house team during the shift and involves some clerical duties.

Requirements

If you have got at least 1 years’ experience in Hospitality, Catering, or a similar role, then we would love to hear from you! If you have not got experience but you have good interpersonal and communication skills, organisational skills, the ability to work well within a team, and a good work ethic, then we would also welcome your application. Full, on‑the‑job training will be provided to the successful candidate. All posts are subject to a clear enhanced criminal record check and satisfactory references. Although it is no longer a legal requirement for staff working within CQC regulated Care Homes for Older Adult Care in England to be fully COVID‑19 vaccinated, in the best interests of our staff and residents, we have decided to keep it a mandatory requirement to work for our organisation. Therefore, we will need proof of your COVID Vaccination pass. You must have current valid right to work in the UK. This role does not meet the requirements of Sponsorship.

  • Written communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work in a tidy and clean manner
