The Role

The Domiciliary Care Worker assists and enables the residents living within St George’s Park Retirement Village and our Assisted Living Development in achieving quality of life, integration, and independence.

They provide a range of domestic and personal care assistance, supporting residents to maintain cleanliness and allowing personal care that respects dignity, privacy, and choice.

Responsibilities

Provide domestic and personal care assistance to residents, including cleaning to a high standard and delivering personal care appropriate to each resident.

Ensure a welcoming, friendly atmosphere within the retirement community.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to caring and understanding client needs.
  • Ability to work confidentially.
  • Clear enhanced criminal record check and satisfactory references.
  • Proof of current COVID‑19 vaccination.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.
  • Not eligible for sponsorship.
