Angus Training Group Ltd. is a leading Modern Apprenticeship Training Provider in the engineering sector, accredited by EAL and SEMTA. Based in Arbroath, Angus, we are dedicated to developing the next generation of engineers through high-quality training programs tailored to industry standards.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer - Instructor/Assessor to join our team on a full‑time, on‑site basis. In this role, you will provide hands‑on instruction, mentorship, and assessment for apprentices, guiding them through various aspects of electrical engineering. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the careers of future engineers while ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions covering electrical engineering principles, including Electrical Design, Power Distribution, and Power Systems.
  • Assess apprentices' skills and knowledge through practical evaluations and written assessments.
  • Mentor and support apprentices to help them achieve their full potential in both technical and professional capacities.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and ensure training aligns with current best practices.
  • Provide regular feedback and progress reports for apprentices, identifying areas for improvement and development.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong expertise in electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to mentor and train apprentices effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering (preferred).
  • A valid driving licence (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £39,000 per year
