ANGUS PROPERTIES IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES EMPLOYER We are currently seeking an experienced Part 2 Architectectural Assistant to join the team in Angus Properties. Further Information: Job Title: PT 2 Architectural Assistant Location: Based in Belfast the role may involve some travel throughout Northern Ireland, Ireland and the UK (a valid driving licence and vehicle required) Contract:12 Months fixed-term contract but potential to become permanent. Salary: £ 33,000 - £37,000 per annum - will be depending on experience. Benefits: 29 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) Generous staff discount (after 3-month service) NEST pension scheme Regular incentives and staff events Opportunities for career progression Job Summary: The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced architecture and property development company with a growing track record of delivering award winning projects. ANGUS PROPERTIES also works as the in-house architecture, construction and property management company for the wider business group including Argento Contemporary Jewellery, Lets Go Padel and the Lets Go Hydro resort. This will include creating drawing packages, 3D modelling, materials researching and contractor communication. You will also be involved in the design of shop units throughout the UK and NI, Padel centre design and projects at Lets Go Hydro. There will also be exciting commercial refurbishment projects with in our heritage portfolio, restoring and redeveloping listed or conservation projects into commercial use. About you: The ideal candidate will have previous commercial work experience in an architectural office. It is important that the candidate be able to work at pace while delivering consistent quality. The candidate is joining a growing team in our new head office in East Belfast. Qualified to masters degree or a comparable Part 2 level Architecture degree qualification. Strong concept design abilities demonstrated through university projects and/or relevant work experience Strong technical design abilities and ideally experience in refurbishment works at any scale. At least 1 years experience in a similar role Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe suite as a minimum. Strong knowledge and experience of planning and building control required. Strong planning and organisational skills with good numerical and verbal skills Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills Commercially focused with strong drive to deliver Ability to multi-task and show initiative. Ideal candidates will be available to start the role immediately if successful in the recruitment and selection stage. Please note the company will not be able to put the candidate through their part 3 training.
