A Personal Care Assistant vacancy is now available to work for a young man with autism, He enjoys an outing in his car to shops or out for lunch. Some light household duties, ie changing bed linen, cooking and laundry. A PVG certificate from Disclosure Scotland is required. Employer will refund the cost if you do not have one, or it has expired.
Good communication skills and care experience are essential. Good organisational skills and ability to cook and prepare snacks.Knowledge of autism and learning disabilities would be an advantage,Encouraged to keep to a good routine, ie sleep and meal times.This is a permanent position following the trial period.A full driving licence is required.
