Wellbeing Activities Coordinator – Angus Council

Location: Kinloch Care Centre, Carnoustie.

Work style: 1 – Fixed. Hours: 24 hours per week, shift pattern, operational 7 days a week.

Job Description

You will create a stimulating activity programme, tailored to the interests and life stories of each resident within the service. You will identify and deliver the needs of both the collective group and individuals, liaising with residents, families, friends and care staff to formulate an activity profile for each resident. You will also create and maintain community links, plan and organise outings and develop effective working relationships, encouraging families and friends to participate in care home activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver front‑line activities to residents.
  • Assess and meet the needs of residents, tailoring activities accordingly.
  • Coordinate with residents, families, friends and care staff to create activity profiles.
  • Establish and maintain community links and organise outings.
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships to engage families and friends.
