Based at Arbroath High School, Keptie Road, Arbroath. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Arbroath High School, supporting pupils with Additional Support Needs across the school. The successful candidate will primarily work in The Lighthouse, a nurturing setting offering highly individualised learning experiences for small groups of pupils. The Lighthouse provides a flexible curriculum tailored to each young person’s strengths and needs, helping them develop the skills, qualifications and confidence to achieve their potential.
Working closely with colleagues and partner agencies, you will play a key role in delivering coordinated support for our young people. We are seeking a dynamic, creative and proactive teacher with experience of supporting pupils with autism and complex needs, and of working collaboratively with families and professionals. Applications are welcomed from GTCS-registered teachers from both primary and secondary backgrounds. A willingness and ability to teach across the curriculum is essential. This job is temporary until no later than 02 July 2026. Please note interviews will be held - week commencing Monday, 12 January 2026.
