Job Description
Based at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath.
This job is Workstyle 4 – Hybrid
Supporting people with a learning disability in community settings. You will work as part of a team to support and enable adults with learning disabilities to live ordinary lives and to access opportunities within their local community. You will also work as part of a team to promote enablement as well as health and wellbeing.
You may also be required to support individuals to access further education and provide the necessary transition support (from schools) to do so, such as access public transport and develop independent travel skills. The service provides this support in collaboration with Dundee and Angus College. The main support provision for this role will be to support individuals through enablement.
The provision of personal care is an essential component of this post.
