Job Description Based at Kinloch Care Centre, Kinloch Street, Carnoustie.
This job is workstyle 1 Fixed.
In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work.
Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
Kinloch Care Centre is a residential care centre providing support to 8 permanent residents, 8 short stay respite places and a 6 day day-care service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the management team.
This consists of a manager and currently 3 senior social care officers who share a duty rota.
This will increase to 4 senior social care officers.
Each member of the management team carries responsibility to manage all staff groups and are delegated responsibility to provide supervision and appraisal to individual staff members.
The management team are responsible for the accommodation and care service provided to service users, and ensuring that service standards are achieved, including consultation and involvement of service users in all aspects of their care.
The senior social care officer on duty is responsible for the unit in the manager’s absence.
